The new car project is now complete. The car started life as a 1985 one litre base model and was acquired in 2006 with 32500 miles from new. The vehicle was in exceptional condition being effectively corrosion free despite its age. See picture below. |

The car was stripped back to a bare rolling shell. A weld in cage extended to the front suspesion mounts was fitted by Protection and Performance of
Skipton. All other work with the exception of the painting was done by Stuart and Scott with help from Tynemouth clubmates Ian, Garry, Chris and Big J |
